Abstract

The ultimate objective of Project EVEREST is to improve the integrity of Ohio elections for federal office, and state and local offices and issues, and provide the citizenry with increased confidence and trust in our elections system.

Project EVEREST has sought to accomplish these goals by attempting to provide a comprehensive, independent, balanced and objective assessment of the risks to election integrity associated with OhioÕs voting systems, which will in turn be used to make improvements in laws and instructions governing Ohio elections with a focus on the use, handling, and securing of voting machines before, during and after elections.
