After the successful organization of ICISS 2006 at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, the 3nd conference will be organized by the University of Delhi. The acceptance ratio of the first two conferences has averaged less than 30%, and the proceedings have published as part of the Springer Verlag series of Lecture Notes in Computer Science. ICISS presents a forum for disseminating the latest research results in Information Systems Security and related areas. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Paper Submission

Papers should be at most 15 pages not including the bibliography and well-marked appendices. Reviewers are not required to read the appendices, so the paper should be intelligible without them. Submission instructions will be posted soon. One of the authors of an accepted paper must register for the conference to present the paper.

All papers and research reports should be formatted using Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) style. Paper submissions will be electronic only. Only pdf files will be accepted. Please do not submit MS Word documents. Formatting guides and style sheets (for LaTeX and MS Word) are available from the Springer LNCS site. Camera-Ready manuscript must be submitted in LaTeX.

Dual Submission Policy

Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings.

Ongoing Research Reports

There will be two sessions to present reports on the current research projects. One session will be for academic institutions and the other for the industrial establishments. The research reports should be submitted in the same way as the technical papers. A report should maximum be of 4 pages.

Tutorial Proposals

There will be a tutorial program for two days (16-17 December 2007). At most four three-hour tutorials will be offered. Proposals are invited for tutorials of duration three hours on relevant topics of current interest. A tutorial proposal should include the extended abstract of the tutorial and a brief biography of the speaker (s). Please mail your proposal to the Tutorial Chair. The speaker(s) of accepted proposals need to submit their final presentation one month before the conference to the Tutorial Chair.

Proceedings

Conference Proceedings will be published in Springer LNCS series.
